CEBU CITY, Cebu, May 29 (PIA) -- Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte led the launching of the "PagbaBago: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign" in Cebu when she visited the province on May 27. The program is a nationwide campaign and an initiative of the Office of the Vice President that aims to uphold the importance of basic education and promote good oral hygiene of the students. Under this program, the OVP will also provide backpacks to one million students nationwide within six years, or until 2028. During the "Pagbabago" campaign launch held at the Mandaue City Sports Complex, a total of 1,000 grade school students (500 Grade 1 and 500 Grade 4) from various public schools in Mandaue City were given "PagbaBago Bags" containing school supplies and dental kits.
