(Contributed photo) In response to the devastation wreaked by super typhoon Odette (international name Rai) on its host community, AboitizPower subsidiary Therma Visayas Inc. (TVI) mobilized a relief operation that has already helped ease the lives of 2,250 affected families in Toledo City, Cebu as of Dec. 30, 2021. TVI kicked off its program on Dec. 24 with an allocation of P1.7 million to provide families with relief packs containing easy-to-cook food, rice, and drinking water, among others, in an effort to aid them in getting by as the midwestern Cebu town recovers. The beneficiary barangays include Bato, Cabitoonan, and Awihao. The power generation firm also deployed three water filtration units to support the local water district’s utility restoration efforts.
