DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, March 24 (PIA) -- The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) launched a website and printed educational materials for Grades 6, 9, and 11 teachers in Negros Oriental on March 24 in Dumaguete City. Dubbed "GeoSkwela," the online platform is a supplementary learning website that seeks to help teachers discuss difficult Science topics such as energy transformation, sources, generation, transmission, and distribution, as well as the environmental impacts of energy generation. “Today, EDC is officially launching the GeoSkwela site and conducting one-day training, with the help of our resource speakers from the Knowledge Community,” said Norreen Bautista, head of EDC’s Corporate Relations Department in Negros.
