  CEBU CITY, Cebu (PIA) —  The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is urging fishermen and local government units (LGUs) to comply with the regulations set by the government for catching Blue Swimming Crabs (BSC).  The BFAR, Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has issued Joint Administrative Order 01 which outlines the regulations for catching BSC to prevent overfishing of the crabs.  The order sets conditions that must be followed by fishermen and mandates LGUs to ensure the updated registration of fishermen who belong to the crab fisheries sector.  “The registration will help facilitate the active monitoring of the fishermen’s sea operations, especially concerning the catching of the Blue Swimming Crab,” explained Alberto G.   TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, March 24 (PIA) -- The town of Guindulman tops the towns with the largest coverage of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Support to the Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project with 96.7943 hectares now titled to 55 beneficiaries of the breaking into parcels of titled landholdings formerly owned by the landed families.  DAR Sec. Conrado Estrella III turned over 69 titles, some of them in the form of a Certificate of Land Ownership Agreement (CLOA) and some in electronic certificates. Conrado Estrella III handed out 483 electronic and 119 Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOA) to 501 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBS) in Bohol.  Of the total, 483 are e-titles and 119 are CLOAs. The 602 e-titles and CLOAs are from Bohol, while the DAR issued the same titles to Cebu and Negros Oriental in a regionwide simultaneous distribution held Feb. 21.  Estrella turned over the individual land titles of the 544.0490 hectares of farms located in Bohol’s 18 Agrarian Reform towns.   CEBU CITY, Cebu, Feb. 24 (PIA) -- The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office in Cebu recently distributed 208 Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) or land titles to 346  Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) with a total of 296.6594 hectares under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) in Cebu province.   CEBU CITY, Jan. 31 (PIA) -- Four hundred agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) recently received their Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) or land titles from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Cebu. DAR Cebu Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Grace Fua, together with Provincial Agrarian Reform Adjudicator Atty. Neili Resma, led the distribution of 326 CLOAs to the beneficiaries. Some 157.28 hectares of agricultural land were distributed under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) in Brgy. Binongkalan, Catmon, Cebu.
