DOLE nangunay sa pagbuhi pagbalik sa TIPC Bohol

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, May 31 (PIA) -- Agi og pagpalig-on sa mekanismo sa pagsultihay ug konsutahanay sa panig sa mga mamumuo, mga tagdumala ug sa gobyerno, gipangunayan mismo sa mga taga Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa Region 7 pinangulohan ni Regional Director Lilia Estillore ang pag organisa sa Bohol Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC)

Karon gipangunahan na ni Gobernador Erico Aristotle Aumentado, ang TIPC magsilbe nga bahan nga makonsultahan ug tigtambag sa Bureau of Labor Standards sa DOLE isip local mga mekanismo sa paghisgutay sa mga palisiya, balaod, suholan ug mga pagpadagan sa luwas nga trabahoan tali sa kagamhanan, mamumuo ug mga tagdumala sa mga trabahoan, aron dili na modangat pa ngadto sa kagubot ug pagkadiskompyado sa mga trabahante.

Didto sa General Assembly nga nahitabo sa Jjs Seafoods Garden,natumbok usab nga co chair ang DOLE sa konseho ug kini representahan ni Bohol Labor and Employment Officer Maria Eloida Cantona, CPA.

Napili usab nga Vice Chairs sila si Leoncio Plazos Jr., kinsa nagrepresentar sa mga tagdumala, mga amo ug mga tag-iya sa negosyo ug pabrika, samtang si Bernardo Bihag maoy representante sa mga mamumuo o labor sector.

Si Plazos gikan sa Jjs Foodland, samtang si Bihag, sa Bohol Mine Workers of the Philippine Mining Corporation.

Molingkod isip Board of Directors sa TIPC sila Baldomero Monreal Jr.,  sa Bohol Light Company Incorporated, Maria Selina Abarquez sa Bohol Quality Corporation, Haydee Tan sa Holy Name University, ug Nikka Blanco Pactol sa NICO security Agency.

Board of Directors usab sila William Gamorot, sa TACPEWA AWATU Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc., si Jocelyn Calvis sa Bohol Quality United Workers Association, si Ma Luz Lucip sa Marcela Farms Inc, Employees Independent  ug si Marilyn Camilotes sa Alturas Supermarket Corporation.

Niining bag-o nga composition, ang TIPC, ubos ni Gob Aumentado, hatagan sa gahum sa pagrepaso sa mga nagpadayon nga mga palisiya sa mga mamumuo ug pamuo, ekonomiya ug katilingbanon nga mga lagda ug magtimbang sa local ug mga international nga katikaran nga makaapekto niining mga kondisyones sa lnaw nga mga industriya.

Sa pag-agni sa TIPC, mahimong mapaugmad pa sa mga trabahante ug mamumuo ang ilang mga trabaho ug uban sa konsultasyon ug pagkukabildo sa mga tag-iyahag negosyo, tagdumala ug sa sector sa mga mamumuo, makahimo sila sa pagsugyot og mga lakang ngadto sa Presidente o Kongreso aron marepaso, iduso ang mga makaayo nga palisiya ug suportahan ang mga lakang nga makaayo sa kadaghanan.

Mahimo na usab nila nga motambag sa Kalihim sa DOLE sa pagmugna ug mga palisiya, balaod nga may kalambigitan sa mamumuo ug panarbaho, magpalig-on sa hisgutanay ug mekanismo sa pagtinabangay ug alayonay aron mamahimong tinubdan sa kasaligang relasyon nga hapsay sa mga mamumuo ug mga tag-iyahag negosyo.  (RAHC/PIA7 Bohol)

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity. Dumaguete crime rate drops

  DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Nov. 10 (PIA) -- The Dumaguete City Police Station has reported that between October 1 to Nov. 7, only 70 crime incidents were recorded, a decrease by 21% compared to 91 incidents in the same period of last year. In a City Peace and Order Council meeting, Lt. Col. Ronoel Fungo disclosed that no homicide, murder, robbery, carnapping, rape and rape with homicide cases were reported in the same period.  The City Health Office also reported that of the total 905 surrenderees or people who use drugs (PWUDs) in 2017, around 334 or 37% have completed their assessment as of Nov. 7, 2023. With the absence of drug dependents and pushers in Poblacion 4, 5, and 7, these are considered drug-free barangays, while Poblacion 6 was declared drug-cleared.  The City Health Office also noted that the low or no response to assessment of PWUDs are due to change of address, unknown whereabouts, conflict in work schedule, and imprisonment.  Meanwhile, the ...
