  CEBU CITY, Cebu, Nov. 28 (PIA) -- The Office of the President, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and other private groups, held a gift-giving event on Nov. 26, 2023 at the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus Gym in Cebu City. This is part of the Nationwide Gift-Giving Day program dubbed as "Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya" initiated by the OP through DSWD. The event was held simultaneously in over 250 locations in Manila, Cebu, and Davao with the aim of providing Christmas gifts to around 17,000 children from selected shelters and orphan care centers in the country. More than 400 children from different DSWD-accredited care centers and facilities in Cebu received gift bags during the event.   TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Feb. 3 (PIA) -- The provincial government of Bohol received P100M from the Office of the President (OP) as financial aid for four towns in the province that were badly affected by Typhoon Odette.  The budget came from the OP's Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF). On Feb. 2, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed with the OP, which is a prelude to the downloading of the funds. It was attended by Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Vice Gov. Victor Balite, Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, and Mayors Janet Garcia of Talibon town, Fernando Estavilla of Pres. Carlos P.
