(PIA/CPIO photo) DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Jan. 27 (PIA) -- Some P36.5 million has been allocated from the local Special Education Fund to finance the construction of 24 additional classrooms in the city. The three school buildings with accompanying classrooms will be constructed this year after Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo approved the program of works. Each of the three recipient public schools will be allotted P11.9 million for the construction of a two-storey, eight-classroom school building including the North City Elementary School, South City Elementary School, and Cadawinonan Elementary School. The funding also includes the improvement of the schools’ covered stage at P500,000.
