PBBM misaad sa paggiya sa PH padulong sa pag-uswag

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, June 13 (PIA) -- Gipangunahan ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. niadtong Hunyo 12 ang pagsaulog sa ika-125 nga anibersaryo sa proklamasyon sa kagawasan sa Pilipinas. 

Atol sa maong kasaulogan, misaad ang Pangulo nga manguna sa nasud sa pagbuntog sa mga hagit padulong sa usa ka taas nga pag-uswag nga dalan samtang kini nakabawi gikan sa epekto sa pandemya sa coronavirus.

“Today’s celebration has taken a whole new different meaning, as we mark this occasion with renewed hopes and spirited resolve to rise anew as a nation, not from political oppression but from economic scarring engendered by the crippling and lingering effect of the pandemic.

Ang selebrasyon karong adlawa adunay usa ka bag-o nga lahi nga kahulogan, samtang atong gimarkahan kini nga okasyon uban ang nabag-o nga paglaum ug madasigon nga determinasyon nga mobangon pag-usab isip usa ka nasud, dili gikan sa politikal nga pagdaugdaug apan gikan sa pagkadaot sa ekonomiya nga gipahinabo sa epekto sa pandemya,” si Marcos nagkanayon sa iyang toast remarks atol sa Vin d'honneur sa Malakanyang.

Si Marcos mipadayag og paglaum nga ang selebrasyon ug paghandum karong tuiga mahimong padayon nga pahinumdom sa mga Pilipino nga pinaagi lamang sa panaghiusa isip usa ka nasud nga ilang mapanalipdan ang kagawasan nga naangkon sa ilang mga katigulangan.

Gidasig sa Pangulo ang mga Pilipino sa pagtan-aw sa kasaysayan samtang ilang gipunting ang ilang panan-aw ngadto sa kapunawpunawan, diin ang saad sa mas hayag nga kaugmaon nagpaabot sa nasud.

Naglaum usab si Marcos nga ang nasud makapadayon sa pagpalig-on sa relasyon niini sa mga miyembro sa diplomatikong komunidad, samtang nanawagan siya alang sa mga paagi nga madala ang atong mga relasyon sa bag-ong katas.

Giimbitar usab sa Presidente ang mga kauban sa gobyerno ug mga kasosyo gikan sa pribadong sektor sa pagpadayon sa pagkuhag inspirasyon gikan sa kaisog ug determinasyon sa atong mga katigulangan samtang sila naningkamot sa pagpalambo sa kahimtang sa kinabuhi sa katawhang Pilipino. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity. Dumaguete crime rate drops

  DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Nov. 10 (PIA) -- The Dumaguete City Police Station has reported that between October 1 to Nov. 7, only 70 crime incidents were recorded, a decrease by 21% compared to 91 incidents in the same period of last year. In a City Peace and Order Council meeting, Lt. Col. Ronoel Fungo disclosed that no homicide, murder, robbery, carnapping, rape and rape with homicide cases were reported in the same period.  The City Health Office also reported that of the total 905 surrenderees or people who use drugs (PWUDs) in 2017, around 334 or 37% have completed their assessment as of Nov. 7, 2023. With the absence of drug dependents and pushers in Poblacion 4, 5, and 7, these are considered drug-free barangays, while Poblacion 6 was declared drug-cleared.  The City Health Office also noted that the low or no response to assessment of PWUDs are due to change of address, unknown whereabouts, conflict in work schedule, and imprisonment.  Meanwhile, the ...
