LandBank mingtanyag og lending program pagpalambo sa turismo

 


CEBU CITY, Cebu April 19 (PIA) -- Ang LandBank of the Philippines (LBP) adunay gitanyag nga bag-ong lending program nga nagtumong sa pag-abag sa sektor sa turismo.

Kini mao ang “Tourism Lending Program” nga gimugna sa LandBank aron suportahan ang gobyerno sa pagpalambo sa lokal nga turismo sa nasud nga maoy usa sa mga prayoridad sa kasamtangang administrasyon.

Kini usab gipatuman mahitungod nga ang pagpalig-on sa sektor sa turismo maoy usa sa mga yawe sa pagbangon sa ekonomiya. Gawas sa paghatag og panginabuhian sa daghang Pilipino, ang turismo maoy usa sa mga nag-unang kontributor sa nasudnong ekonomiya.

Ang LandBank migahin ug 5 bilyones ka pesos isip inisyal nga pundo sa maong programa.

Kini nga programa mahimung mapahimuslan sa mga Local Government Units (LGUs) aron tabangan sila sa pagbuhi og balik sa turismo sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga lugar human sa pandemya.

Ang mga operator ug tigpamuhunan sa turismo, lakip ang mga small, og medium enterprises o SMEs, mga korporasyon, ug mga kooperatiba ug asosasyon mahimo usab nga manghulam ubos niini nga programa.

Ang ilang mga negosyo sa turismo kinahanglan lamang nga accredited sa Department of Tourism.

Mahimong mapundohan sa maong programa ang pagtukod o pag-ayo sa mga proyekto nga magpalambo sa imprastraktura sama sa mga tugpahanan, pantalan, tulay o mga dalan padulong sa mga local tourist destinations.

Naglakip usab kini sa pagpalit ug mga Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs), pag-ayo sa sistema sa suplay sa tubig, mga proyekto nga may kalabotan sa wasterwater og wastewater management.

Ang mga negosyo sa turismo mahimo usab nga pondohan sama sa mga pasilidad sa akomodasyon nga naglangkob sa mga hotel ug resort, mga travel and tour services, tour guide services, mga operator sa transportasyon nga may kalabotan sa turismo sama sa mga bangka, ug daghan pa.

Bisan ang mga recreation center sama sa mga restaurants, malls, spa, ug uban pang susamang pasilidad mahimong makahulam ug pundo gikan sa LandBank ubos sa Tourism Lending Program.

Alang sa mga LGU, makahulam sila hangtod sa 100% sa kinatibuk-ang gasto sa ilang proyekto, apan dili molapas sa ilang net borrowing capacity sa LGU sumala sa gimando sa Bureau of Local Government Finance.

Moabot usab sa 80% ang mahimong mahulaman sa mga SMEs ug kooperatiba, ug 75% alang sa mga korporasyon.

Ang interes subay sa nagpatigbabaw nga rate sa LandBank, ug mahimong mabayran hangtod sa 5 ka tuig para sa permanent working capital.

Ug alang usab sa capital expenditure, mahimo kini nga mabayran hangtod sa 15 ka tuig, ug hangtod sa 7 ka tuig alang sa pagtukod ug mga tourist facilites o pagpalit sa mga tourist transport units. (RGC/PIA 7 Cebu with reports from LandBank)
