2 traktor itugyan sa DAR

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, March 15 (PIA) -- Pormal nga itugyan ni Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III ang duha  ka 50 caballos nga 4-wheel drive nga mga tractor ngadto sa nga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries sa Bulilis Ubay ug sa Cagawasan Dagohoy sa pagbisita sa kilihim dinhi, karong Pebrero 21.

Gawas sa pagtugyan sa mga makinarya nga gitumong aron sa pagpa-usbaw sa ani ug kita sa mga mag-uuma nga anaa sa Agrarian Reform Communities sa Bohol, itugyan usab niini ang mga electronic titles sa mga nasipak na nga Certificates of Land Ownership Agreements (CLOA) nga kanhi gitugyan sa mga kahugpungan nga nakabenepisyo sa programa sa Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).

Dumalahon ang pagtugyan ni Jennet Oporto, sa DAR, samtang saksihan sa mga pinasidunggang dinapit.

Ang pagkasipak sa ilang mother titles nga karon dawaton na sa mga individual title holders, nahimong possible dala sa Project Support for Parcelazation of Lands for Individual Titles (SPLIT), nga karon gipatuman na sa Bohol.  

Kini samtang gihan-ay na sa DAR Bohol Provincial Office ang usa  ka programa diha  sa Bohol Cultural Center sa buntag nianang petsa 21 sa Pebrero, alang sa kalihukan sa kalihim, kinsa moanhi sa Bohol sa labing unang higayon human siya matudlo nga mangulo sa DAR.

Kauban ni Kaligim Estrella sa iyang opisyal nga pagtanda sa Bohol mao ang unom ka undersecretaries uban sa Bol-anon nga kanhi hepe sa National Bureau of Investigation ug karon Usec sa DAR Legal Office nga si Virgilio Mendez.

Kauban nila sila Undersecretaries Kazel Celeste, Napoleon Galit, Milagros Isabel Cristobal, Jeffrey Gala ug Jersy Palmares.

Moanhi usab sila Assistant Secretaries Joey Sumatra, Marjorie Ayson, Ubaldo Sadiarin Jr. ug silang Director Cleon Lester Chaves lakip na ang nasudnong DAR Employees Association national President nga si Edna Rota.

Moanhi usab sio DAR Regional Director Leomides VIllareal, matud pa ni DAR Bohol Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer Dr. Ronald Pumatong.

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity. Dumaguete crime rate drops

  DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Nov. 10 (PIA) -- The Dumaguete City Police Station has reported that between October 1 to Nov. 7, only 70 crime incidents were recorded, a decrease by 21% compared to 91 incidents in the same period of last year. In a City Peace and Order Council meeting, Lt. Col. Ronoel Fungo disclosed that no homicide, murder, robbery, carnapping, rape and rape with homicide cases were reported in the same period.  The City Health Office also reported that of the total 905 surrenderees or people who use drugs (PWUDs) in 2017, around 334 or 37% have completed their assessment as of Nov. 7, 2023. With the absence of drug dependents and pushers in Poblacion 4, 5, and 7, these are considered drug-free barangays, while Poblacion 6 was declared drug-cleared.  The City Health Office also noted that the low or no response to assessment of PWUDs are due to change of address, unknown whereabouts, conflict in work schedule, and imprisonment.  Meanwhile, the ...
