TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, May 19 (PIA) -- Aprobado kang Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang sugyot nga pagmugna og private sector-led coordinating partnership aron masolbad ang jobs ug skills mismatch sa nasod.

Matud pa sa pahayag sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO), ang Private Sector Jobs and Skills Corp. (PSJSC) gisugyot sa Private Sector Advisory Council-Job sector Group, nga gikahinabi ni Presidente Marcos sa Palasyo, adlaw’ng Hwebes.

 “Well, if it’s private sector-led, then the data gathering function will actually be almost automatic because it’s the private sector that will say ‘These are the things we need’,” matud pa sa Pangulo sa usa  ka pulong kauban ang mga business leaders.

Una niini, gitahasan sa Pangulo ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE),  Department of Education (DepEd),  Commission on Higher Education (CHED), ug Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) nga makig-alayon sa PSAC-JSG aron i-andam ug itakda ang sistema kun unsaon pagpakusog ang kolaborasyon aron makonhoran ang “jobs ug skills mismatch problem” sa mga prayoridad nga sektor.

Ang pagmugna og PSJSC gi-endorso sa mga nitambong nga miyembro sa gabinete. Kini naglakip nila DOLE Kalihim Bienvenido Laguesma, Kalihim Arsenio Balisacan sa National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), ug Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Kalihim Alfredo Pascual.

Samtang matud pa sa gihimong pagtuon sa Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), 40% sa employed Filipino ang adunay academic credentials nga lapas sa gikinahanglan sa ilang trabaho.

Tumong sa gilaraw nga programa mao ang ”to upgrade the skills of the Filipino workforce required by industry standards to accelerate the creation of more jobs in the country’s priority sectors. PVAO to partner with hospitals for improved medical care access of veterans
