PBBM nanguna sa groundbreaking sa Cebu Bus Rapid Transit

 



TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Feb. 27 (PIA) -- Gipangunahan ni Presidente Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos, Jr. ang ceremonial groundbreaking sa unang Bus Rapid Transit sa nasod, ang Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) Project- Package 1, karong adlawa, Pebrero 27.

Gipangunahan sa Presidente ang pagpaubos sa time capsule kauban si Department of Transportation (DOTr) Kalihim Jaime Bautista, Speaker of the House of Representatives Martin Romualdez, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, ug Cebu Gob. Gwendolyn Garcia.

Ang CBRT maoy usa sa mga flagship infrastructure projects sa gobyerno nga gidesinyo aron mapalambo ang kinatibuk-ang performance sa urban passenger transport system sa probinsya sa Sugbo.

Ang Phase 1 naglangkob sa upat ka estasyon sa BRT, nga mao ang: Capitol Station, Fuente Station, Cebu Normal University (CNU) station, ug CSBT station, nga motadlas gikan sa N. Bacalso Ave. corner Osmena Blvd. ngadto sa Plaza Independencia.

Gilauman nga kini hingpit nga magamit sa ikaduhang kwarter sa 2025.

Sa iyang pakigpulong, si Marcos miingon nga ang Cebu Bus Rapid Transit maghatag og mas episyente, kasaligan, ug mas luwas nga sistema sa transportasyon sa publiko nga magbag-o ngadto sa komportable nga kinabuhi sa matag Pilipino, ilabi na sa mga Sugbuanon.

Ang nasangpit nga proyekto naglakip sa tulo ka packages nga adunay kinatibuk-ang 13.18 kilometros nga segregated lanes nga naglangkob sa 17 ka stations, usa ka depot, ug usa ka trunk terminal sugod sa South Road Properties (SRP) ngadto sa IT park sa dakbayan sa Sugbo.

Mokabat sa P16.307 bilyones ang kantidad sa proyekto nga giaprobahan sa National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) niadtong 2017.

Ang groundbreaking ceremony gipahigayon sa Fuente Osmena Circle sa dakbayan sa Sugbo ug gitambungan sa mga opisyal sa DOTr, mga opisyal sa kagamhanang lokal sa Sugbo, publiko ug pribadong stakeholders, ug mga kontraktor sa proyekto. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)
