DOH7 launches 'PinasLakas' vax drive in Cebu City

CEBU CITY, Cebu, August 29 (PIA) -- In line with its regional campaign to increase booster vaccination among the general population, the Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH7), along with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG7), and the Cebu City government held the "PinasLakas" Ceremonial Vaccination Campaign at the San Roque Parish, Mambaling, this city on August 27.   The campaign aims to support and advocate with the community for the increased uptake and demand of the COVID-19 vaccines, especially for booster doses. It aims to bring the government’s vaccination program closer to the people by putting up vaccination sites in various areas such as malls, public markets, offices, workplaces, and places of worship.
