Balaod nga nagbawal sa ‘no permit, no exam,’ gilagdaan ni PBBM

 


MANILA, March 19 (PIA) -- Gilagdaan ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang balaod nga nagdili sa “no permit, no exam" nga polisiya aron tugotan ang mga disadvantaged nga mga estudyante sa pagkuha sa gikatakda nga periodic ug final nga mga eksaminasyon bisan pa sa wala masulbad nga obligasyong pinansyal.

Sa usa ka pamahayag niadtong Sabado, si Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Kalihim Cheloy Garafil miingon nga gilagdaan ni Marcos ang Republic Act (RA) 11984, o ang “No Permit, No Exam” Prohibition Act niadtong Marso 11.

Matud pa ni Garafil nga ang RA 11984 naglangkob sa tanang publiko ug pribadong basic education (K to 12) nga mga institusyon, higher education institutions, ug technical-vocational institutions (TVIs).

Si Garafil nagkanayon nga ang tanang sakop sa publiko ug pribadong institusyon sa edukasyon nga mapamatud-ang sad-an sa paglapas sa RA 11984 ipaubos sa administratibong silot nga mahimong ipahamtang sa Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), ug sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Ubos sa RA 11984, ang tanang pampubliko ug pribadong institusyon sa edukasyon gimandoan sa pag-accommodate ug pagtugot sa mga disadvantaged nga mga tinun-an nga walay ikabayad og tuition ug uban pang bayronon sa eskwelahan nga makakuha sa periodic ug final exams nga wala magkinahanglan og permit.

Sa kaso sa mga estudyante sa K to 12, ang mandato alang sa tibuok school year.

Gidugang pa ni Garafil nga ang RA 11984 kinahanglang ipatuman nga walay pagpihig sa katungod ug gahom sa mga institusyon sa edukasyon nga mag-require sa pagsumite sa usa ka promisory note, pagpugong sa mga rekord ug kredensyal sa mga estudyante, ug uban pang legal ug administratibong mga remedyo nga anaa kanila alang sa pagkolekta sa wala mabayri.

Ang balaod nagmando sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa pag-isyu sa gikinahanglang certificate sa disadvantaged status sa estudyante tungod sa mga kalamidad, emerhensya, force majeure (uncontrollable events), ug uban pang maayo o makatarunganong rason.

Ang pag-isyu sa mga sertipiko sa municipal, city, ug provincial social welfare and development officer, o sa rehiyonal nga buhatan sa DSWD kinahanglang subay sa implementing rules and regulations sa ahensya.sa tibuok school year, sumala sa bag-ong balaod. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
