Balaod magpalig-on sa industriya sa asin, gilagdaan ni PBBM

 


MANILA, March 19 (PIA) -- Gilagdaan ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang balaod nga "Philippine Salt Industry Development Act" o Republic Act No. 11985, nga nagtumong sa pagpalig-on ug pagpalagsik sa industriya sa asin sa Pilipinas isip kabahin sa mga paningkamot sa administrasyon sa pagpalambo sa rural nga kalamboan ug pagdugang sa kita sa kabanikanhan.

Sa 23-pahina nga balaod nga gilagdaan niadtong Marso 11 nag-ingon nga ang angay nga teknolohiya ug panukiduki, ug igong pinansyal, produksiyon, marketing ug uban pang serbisyo sa suporta ang ihatag sa mga mag-uuma sa asin aron mabuhi pag-usab ang industriya sa asin, makab-ot ang dugang nga produksiyon, makab-ot ang igo nga asin ug mahimong usa ka sunod nga eksporter sa asin.

“It is further the policy of the State to preserve, protect, and rehabilitate the natural environment in the actualization of its developmental policies," ang balaod nag-ingon.

(Kini mao ang dugang nga palisiya sa Estado sa pagpreserbar, pagpanalipod, ug rehabilitate sa natural nga palibot sa aktuwal sa iyang developmental nga mga palisiya.) 

Usa ka Philippine Salt Industry Development Roadmap ang itukod ug e-establisar aron masiguro nga makab-ot ang mga katuyoan sa balaod, nga nahiuyon sa mga katuyoan ug padayon nga pagpatuman sa Republic Act No. 8172, o An Act for Salt Iodization Nationwide (ASIN).

Usa ka “Salt Council” ang pagahimoon aron masiguro ang hiniusang pagpatuman sa salt roadmap ug pagpadali sa modernisasyon ug industriyalisasyon sa industriya sa asin sa Pilipinas nga gipangulohan sa Department of Agriculture (DA).

Ang Kalihim sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) maoy magsilbi nga vice-chairperson sa Salt Council samtang ang mga representante sa mga kooperatiba pilion sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) gikan sa lima ka nominado gikan sa Luzon, tulo gikan sa Luzon, Visayas ug Mindanao.

Usa ka kompleto nga kopya sa balaod ang gipatik sa Official Gazette diin ang mga gimbuhaton sa Salt Council giila kauban ang pagmugna sa usa ka Program Management Office (PMO), diin ang asin isip Aquatic Resource Product, ug uban pang hinungdanon nga mga seksyon sa balaod.

Ang balaod mo-epekto 15 ka adlaw human sa kompleto nga publikasyon niini sa Official Gazette, o sa duha ka pamantalaan mga may kinatibuk-ang sirkulasyon. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
