RDC7 mipasidungog sa sa Tagbilaran CMCI Award

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, January 3 (PIA) -- Tungod sa pagpamupo sa Tagbilaran City sa labing tag-as nga scores sa tanan nga mga haligi nga gitan-aw sa 2023 Cities and Municipalities Competitive Index (CMCI) ug sa pagsakmit niini sa Hall of Fame Award sa Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry isip Most Business Friendly City in the Philippines, gihatagan kini og espesyal nga pasidungog sa Regional Development Council sa Rehiyon 7. 

Kahinumduman nga ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) matag tuig nga naghimo og Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) survey, aron ipatuman ang balaod sa ease of doing business. 

Alang sa 2023 edition, ang tanan nga 132 ka local government units diin 16 niini mga syudad ug 116 mga kalungsuran sa Central Visayas ang naabut sa survey.

Ang mga mingsalmot nga LGUs hatagan sa katumbas nga scores subay sa ilang mga tubag sa mga pangutana tadlas sa lima ka mga haligi: economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, resiliency, ug innovation. 

Niining tuiga ang 2023 CMCI nga resulta mingpakita nga ang Tagbilaran City nahi-apil sa 10 ka labing competitive nga mga syudad sa nasud ug gani, mingdughit sa labing taas nga scores sa tanan nga lima ka haligi.

Sa walo ka indicators ubos sa economic dynamism, gihukman usab ang Tagbilaran subay sa Local Economy Size, Local Economy Growth, Active Establishments in the Locality, Safety Compliant Business, Employment Generation, Cost of Living, Cost of Doing Business, Financial Deepening, Productivity ug Presence of Business and Professional Organizations. 

Sa government efficiency, gihukman usab ang syudad sa pagtuman niini sa nasudnong mga direktiba, ang pagbaton og Investment Promotion Unit, ang pagsunod sa ARTA Citizens Charter, ang kapasidad nga makapangita og Local Resource, Serbisyo sa panglawas, serbisyo sa mga tunghaan ug edukasyon, Pag-ila ang mga Performance niini, sa pagkuhag Business Permits, kahimtang sa kahapsay ug kalinaw ug  ang pagpanalipod sa mga molupyo niini.

Gisukod usab ang Tagbilaran sa sitwasyon sa mga kadalanan niini, ang kalayoon gikan sa pantalan ug tugpahanan, ang pagka-adunay batakan nga mga utilities sama sa tubig ug suga, panakyanan, edukasyon, health, pamuhunan sa LGU, accommodation capacity, kapasidad sa information technology ug sa financial technology capacity. 

Gigradohan usab kini sa resiliency sama sa Land Use Plan, Disaster Risk Reduction Plan, Annual Disaster Drill, Early Warning System, Budget alang sa DRRMP, Local Risk Assessments, Emergency Infrastructure Utilities, Employed Population ug Sanitary System. 

Sa katapusan, gisarang usab ang syudad sa ICT Plan, Innovation Financing: Research and Development Expenditures Allotmen, ICT Use u gang paggamit sa E-BPLS Software, Online Payment Facilities, STEM graduates, Intellectual Property Registration, Internet Capability, Availability of Basic Internet Service, Start Up and Innovation Facilities ug bag-ong mga teknolohiya nga gibansay. 

Niining tanan, nakuha sa Tagbilaran ang labing taas nga eskor.

Gawas pa sa pasidungog sa CMCI, nakuha usab sa Tagbilaran City ang Hall of Fame award gikan sa Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) ka pagkatumbok niini nga katulo na nga mahinganli nga Most Business Friendly Local Government Unit ubos sa City Level 3 category.

Katulo na kini makuha sa syudad sa milabay nga lima na ka tuig, segun sa DTI. 

Tungod niini, giduso sa RDC7 Economic Development Committee, ang resolusyon nga gipasa en masse aron iparekomendar sa RDC ang pagpasidungog sa Tagbilaran City, pinaagi sa EDC Resolution No. 26. (RAHC/PIA-7 Bohol)

OCD-7: ‘Only OCD can hold incident command system trainings’
