PPP Code, Net Transactions Act, napabalaod ni PBBM


 

MANILA, Dec. 6 (PIA) -- Gilagdaan na ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. (PBBM) ang Public-Private Partnership Code of the Philippines (PPP Code) ug ang Internet Transactions Act of 2023.

Gilagdaan ni Presidente Marcos ang duha ka balaod bisan kung na-isolate siya sa Bahay Pangarap sa Malakanyang tungod kay nagpositibo siya sa COVID-19.

Usa ka ceremonial signing ang gikatakda unta kagahapon sa Malacañang alang sa paglagda sa duha ka bag-ong balaod apan wala kini madayon.

Matud pa sa Presidente, ang duha ka bag-ong balaod nagpakita sa pasalig ug kaandam sa nasud sa pagpaspas sa kalamboan ug pagpalambo sa digital economy.

Ang pagpatuman sa PPP Code, o “An Act Providing for the Public-Private Partnership of the Philippines,” gilagdaan isip Republic Act No. 11966, magtukod og usa ka lig-on ug matag-an nga palibot alang sa kolaborasyon tali sa publiko ug pribadong sektor aron matubag ang mga kal-ang sa mga sistema sa imprastraktura ug gawasnon usab ang gikinahanglan kaayo nga mga kahinguhaan aron makahimo ang gobyerno sa pagpadayon sa uban nga parehas ka importante nga mga proyekto ug mga inisyatiba.

Ang PPP Code naglakip sa labing maayo nga mga gawi gikan sa kapin sa tulo ka dekada nga kasinatian sa pagpatuman sa Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Law, pagsiguro nga ang nasud makatukod og mas maayong mga proyekto sa imprastraktura ug mamenosan ang mga risgo atol sa pagpatuman niini.

Sa laing bahin, ang pagpasa sa Internet Transactions Act of 2023, nga gilagdaan isip Republic Act No. 11967, ang katawhan mahatagan sa mga mekanismo aron masaligon nga dawaton ang digital economy.

Ang ITA, o "An Act Protecting Online Consumers and Merchants Engaged in Internet Transactions,” nagpasiugda sa mga paningkamot sa gobyerno nga dili lamang mapanalipdan ang mga konsumedor ug mga negosyante, apan usab gamiton ang e-commerce isip himan alang sa pagtubo ug paglambo samtang gisuportahan niini ang patas nga mga gawi sa negosyo, nagpasiugda sa kabag-ohan, ug nagtukod og epektibo nga mga mekanismo alang sa pagsulbad sa panaglalis.

Gitukod usab niini ang E-Commerce Bureau ubos sa Department of Trade and Industry nga maoy manguna sa pagpatuman sa balaod, ingon man ang Electronic Commerce Act of 2000, ug ang Philippine E-Commerce Roadmap. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
