PBBM: Gobyerno, naggamit og mga bag-ong teknolohiya sa pagsulbad sa climate change

 


MANILA, November 9 (PIA) -- Si Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. nisubli niadtong Miyerkules sa panawagan sa administrasyon sa paghimo sa climate change nga usa ka mahinungdanong bahin sa nasudnong mga palisiya ingon nga nanawagan sa katawhang Pilipino nga moduyog sa gobyerno sa pagpalig-on sa disaster preparedness, recovery ug resiliency sa nasud.

“We must make sure that we apply our knowledge on climate change to every plan, to every decision, and initiative so we can build stronger and more resilient communities.

Kinahanglan natong siguroon nga atong gamiton ang atong kahibalo sa climate change sa matag plano, sa matag desisyon, ug inisyatiba aron makatukod kita og mas lig-on  nga mga komunidad,” si Presidente Marcos miingon sa iyang pakigpulong atol sa ika-10 nga Yolanda Commemoration Anniversary sa syudad sa Tacloban.

Ang Presidente mipasalig nga ang administrasyon kanunay nga maningkamot sa pagsiguro nga ang mga epekto sa mga natural nga kalamidad sama sa super typhoon Yolanda, maminusan pinaagi sa mas konkretong plano sa pagbag-o sa klima.

Sa pagkatinuod, si Presidente Marcos miingon nga ang gobyerno nagpadayon sa pagtukod sa mga disaster-resilient evacuation ug emergency operations centers, ug nagbutang ug mas sentralisado ug episyente nga early warning system, incident command systems, ug disaster response strategies.

Ang Presidente midugang nga ang deployment sa bag-ong mga teknolohiya, sama sa GeoRiskPH ug PlanSmart uban sa padayon nga pagpahigayon sa impormasyon ug edukasyon nga mga kampanya ug simulation drills mapuslanon usab sa pagluwas sa mga kinabuhi.

Gi-awhag sa Presidente ang mga lungsoranon nga Pilipino nga makig-uban sa gobyerno sa paghanduraw, pagdamgo ug pagtrabaho alang sa pagtukod sa usa ka mas maayo nga "New Philippines" sa pagpasidungog sa mga mitaliwan ug alang sa kaayohan sa umaabot nga mga henerasyon." (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

  CEBU CITY, Cebu, Oct. 24 (PIA) -- The Duterte Legacy Caravan in Cebu dubbed as “Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” highlighted the various projects and programs implemented in Cebu under the Duterte administration that has brought about a positive change in the lives of its beneficiaries.  Cebu province benefited from several projects from the Duterte administration under the "Build, Build, Build" program such as bridges, diversion roads, evacuation centers, municipal buildings, public markets, road concreting, farm to market roads,  among others. EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
