Ikaduhang Bohol Organic Agriculture Festival, gipahigayon

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, November 14 (PIA) -- Gipahigayon karon ang ikaduhang Bohol Organic Agriculture Festival nga gibuksan niadtong Nobyembre 13, diin gisalmotan kini sa 17 ka organic agriculture farming practitioners gikan sa humay, utanon, prutas, fruit tree seedlings, cacao, herbs, mushroom, ug uban pa.

Ang presidente sa Kapunungan sa Bol-anong Organikong Mag-uuma (KaBoOM) nga si Marilou Escalona ang ​ miabi-abi sa mga exhibitors ug organic agriculture stakeholders atol sa pagbukas niadtong Lunes sa Bohol Showcase Center sa syudad sa Tagbilaran.

Una nang gilagdaan ni Aumentado ang Executive Order No. 30 nga nagmugna sa Technical Working Group aron mapadali ang suporta sa organikong agrikultura.

Gawas sa organic product showcase, ang tulo ka adlaw nga festival naglakip usab sa Regional Organic Agri Quiz Bee ingon man ang mga pagbansay-bansay sa vermi production, organic soil amendments, stingless bee production, urban gardening, organic cacao production ug organic feed formulation.

Ang buwan sa Nobyembre gideklarar nga Organic Agricultural Month pinaagi sa Presidential Proclamation No. 1030 nga gipagawas niadtong 2015.

Sa ika-2 nga selebrasyon niini sa probinsiya, ang tema karong tuiga mao ang “Panginabuhing Organiko, Kaugmaon Segurado”. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
