DSWD mopadayun sa cash grant payout sa 761K 4Ps beneficiaries

 



CEBU CITY, Cebu Nov. 20 (PIA) -- May mapaabut ang mga benepisyaryo sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) alang sa pasko.

Ang mga benepisaryo sa 4Ps nga napahimutang sa “limbo” sulod sa siyam ka bulan — gikan sa Enero hangtod sa Septiyembre karong tuiga — sugdan na og pagpanghatag sugod sa Nobyembre 30.

Gi-anunsyo na sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) niadtong Nobyembre 15 nga ang payout sa cash grants ngadto sa 761,140 ka 4Ps beneficiaries mopadayun sugod karong Nobyembre 30.

Si DSWD Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez, kinsa mao usab ang tigpamaba sa ahensya, niingon nga gawas sa cash grants, ang mga kwalipikadong benepisyaryo makadawat usab sa ilang rice subsidy.

Mahinomduman, nga temporaryong gihunong sa DSWD ang pangpanghatag sa cash grants ngadto sa mga sakop sa 4Ps human sa revalidation nga gihimo sa 4Ps National Project Management Office (NPMO) aron pagtino kon kinsa sa mga benepisyaryo sa matag panimalay ang dili na makosiderar isip pobre o gitawag nga non-poor.

Base sa direktiba ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, nakompleto sa 4Ps NPMO ang reassessment sa 1,158,249 ka mga panimalay nga kanhi giila nga dili pobre gamit ang Social Welfare and Development Indicators o SWDI tool.

Base sa assessment, adunay 4,242 ka mga panimalay ang nasuta nga anaa sa Level 1 o Survival Level; 756,898 ka panimalay sa Level 2 o Subsistence Level; ug 339,660 ka panimalay sa Level 3 o Self-Sufficient.

Ang maong retroactive payout sa reassessed qualified households kay subay sa gipirmahang memorandum ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian nga giulohan og “Guidance on the Processing of Unpaid Grants to Qualified 759,041 4Ps Household-Beneficiaries for the Period January 2023-September 2023.”

Ang 4Ps usa ka human development program nga naghatag ug social protection, social assistance, social development, ug uban pang complementary support services sa pakigtambayayong sa mga hingtungdan nga mga ahensya gobyerno, LGUs ug uban pang stakeholders nagtumong sa pagpalambo sa panglawas ug nutrisyon, edukasyon, ug socio-economic nga aspeto sa mga Filipino households nga nanginahanglan. 'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
