PHLPost nipasidaan sa publiko batok sa mga peke nga FB pages

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, October 4 (PIA) -- Nipasidaan ang Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) sa publiko batok sa peke nga Facebook (FB) pages nga nag-circulate online.

Sa usa ka advisory, ang state postal corporation mipahayag nga ang mga mosunod nga mga peke nga FB pages – ‘Post Office Phl’ ug PhlPost – Parcel distribution’ dili ilaha sa Philippine Postal Corporation.

Kahinumdoman nga sa pagsulod ning tuig, ang PHLPost nipagawas usab og pahimangno sa publiko nga magbantay sa mga scammers nga nagpakaaron-ingnon nga usa ka empleyado sa Post Office nga motawag o magmensahe gamit ang telepono/mobile phone, e-mail, Facebook, video messaging, ug uban pang online platforms nga gituyo sa paglingla sa publiko nga duna silay i-claim nga parsela sa Post Office.

Kalabot kini sa nadawat nilang mga taho kabahin sa mga insidente sa scam pinaagi sa online, email, SMS ug mga tawag.

Ang mga scammer giingong naggamit og fake accounts sa social media, email, text messages o tawag sa telepono aron pagdani sa mga biktima sa giingong wala ma-claim nga package sa mga sangang buhatan niini.  Ang uban nagpakaaron-ingnong mga empleyado sa koreyo.

Ang mga bogus tracking number sa mga pakete ug ubang mga dokumento gipadala usab ngadto sa mga biktima aron makita nga lehitimo ang transaksyon. Kini nga mga dokumento mahimong ma-validate sa Post Office.

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
