Implementasyon sa Anti-Money Laundering ug counter-terrorism financing strategy, gipadali ni PBBM

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, October 20 (PIA) -- Nipagawas ang Malacañang og Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 37 niadtong Lunes, nga nagmando sa dinalian nga pagpatuman sa National Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing ug Counter-Proliferation Financing Strategy 2023-2027 sa gobyerno ug nanawagan sa mga hingtungdang ahensya nga suportahan ang mga paningkamot sa pagpakigbatok sa money laundering ug terrorism financing risk assessment.

Ang memorandum nga gilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, gitahasan usab ang tanang mga hepe sa ahensya sa pagrepaso ug pag-assess sa ilang mga deliverable ubos sa ICRG Action Plan, pag-assign sa mga focal person aron makompleto ang deliverables sa Nobyembre 30, 2023, ug magtukod og mekanismo sa pagmonitor sa pag-uswag sa matag deliverable. 

Ang National AML/CFT Coordinating Committee (NACC) Secretariat gimandoan sa paghatag sa tanang hingtungdan nga mga ahensya sa tagsa-tagsa ka mga deliverables ug mga target sa opisina ubos sa International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) Action Plans ug uban pang may kalabotan nga mga dokumento lakip na ang may kalabotan nga mga resolusyon sa NACC.

Ang memorandum nagmando usab sa AMLC sa pagsumite sa opisina sa Executive Secretary, pinaagi sa Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs, og usa ka komprehensibo nga taho sa kahimtang sa pagpatuman sa NACS 2023-2027, labi na ang Strategic Objective 1, sa dili pa ang Disyembre 8, 2023.

Ang AMLC magsilbi usab nga nanguna nga ahensya sa ML/TF NRA Working Group ug maghimo ug mag-isyu og mga giya alang sa epektibong pagpatuman sa sirkular.

Mahimo usab nga tawagan sa konseho ang departamento sa gobyerno, ahensya, apil ang mga GOCC ug imbitahon usab ang mga LGU ug pribadong sektor nga maghatag tabang sa pagkab-ot sa mga katuyoan niini ubos sa kasamtangang mga balaod ug lagda.

Ang implementasyon sa memorandum circular pagapundohan pinaagi sa tagsa-tagsa ka gahin sa mga hingtungdang ahensya sa gobyerno ug sa corporate operating budgets sa mga hingtungdang GOCCs. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

  CEBU CITY, Cebu, Oct. 24 (PIA) -- The Duterte Legacy Caravan in Cebu dubbed as “Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” highlighted the various projects and programs implemented in Cebu under the Duterte administration that has brought about a positive change in the lives of its beneficiaries.  Cebu province benefited from several projects from the Duterte administration under the "Build, Build, Build" program such as bridges, diversion roads, evacuation centers, municipal buildings, public markets, road concreting, farm to market roads,  among others. EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
