Buwan sa Oktubre gideklarar ni PBBM isip Cybersecurity Awareness Month

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, October 5 (PIA) -- Gideklarar ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang buwan sa Oktubre isip Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

Gikan sa Setyembre matag tuig, gibalhin ni Presidente Marcos sa buwan sa Oktubre aron madungan sa internasyonal nga kalihokan.

Una niini, ang Official Gazette nagpagawas og kopya sa Proclamation No. 353 niadtong Oktubre 4. Gilagdaan kini ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin niadtong Oktubre 2.

Giila sa Presidente ang panginahanglan nga usbon ang orihinal nga Proclamation No. 2054 nga gi-isyu niadtong 2010.

“In order to synchronize the Philippines with the international observance of the ‘Cybersecurity Awareness Month’ in October and to further signify the country’s unwavering commitment towards a unified approach in the digital era of governance, there is a need to amend Proclamation No. 2054,” matud pa sa Pangulo.

Tungod niini, gitahasan sa Pangulo ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) nga manguna sa pagsaulog sa Cybersecurity Awareness Month ug pag-ila sa mga programa, proyekto ug aktibidad nga susama sa international best practices alang sa tinuig nga selebrasyon.

Gitahasan usab niini ang tanang buhatan sa nasudnong kagamhanan ug gidasig ang mga local government units, non-government organizations, ug pribadong sektor sa pagsuporta sa DICT pinaagi sa aktibong pag-apil sa tinuig nga obserbasyon.

Ang Cybersecurity Awareness Month nagtumong sa pagpalig-on sa mga paningkamot aron matubag ang estratehikong polisiya sa mga dimensyon sa cybersecurity, pagpalambo sa usa ka nasudnong cyber defense nga kapabilidad, ug paghimo sa publiko nga kahibalo pinaagi sa gipakusog nga mga kampanya nga nagpakita sa cybersecurity nga impormasyon. 'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

  CEBU CITY, Cebu, Oct. 24 (PIA) -- The Duterte Legacy Caravan in Cebu dubbed as “Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” highlighted the various projects and programs implemented in Cebu under the Duterte administration that has brought about a positive change in the lives of its beneficiaries.  Cebu province benefited from several projects from the Duterte administration under the "Build, Build, Build" program such as bridges, diversion roads, evacuation centers, municipal buildings, public markets, road concreting, farm to market roads,  among others. EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
