Pagsaulog sa 2023 Nat’l Teacher’s Month buksan sa Setyembre 5 sa syudad sa Tagbilaran

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Sept. 4 (PIA) -- Subay sa paningkamot nga ilhon ang dakong papel sa mga magtutudlo sa pag-edukar sa kabataang Pilipino, ang Department of Education (DepEd) subling mangulo sa pagbukas sa National Teachers' Month (NTM) ug World Teachers' Day (WTD) karong tuiga nga selebrasyon.

Sa advisory nga gipagawas niadtong Domingo, Septiyembre 3, ang DepEd nagkanayon nga ang NTM/WTD kick-off program ipahigayon sa Septiyembre 5 sa Bohol Wisdom School sa syudad sa Tagbilaran.

Karong tuiga, ang tema sa kick-off nga selebrasyon sa NTM/WTD mao ang "Together4Teachers."

Ang DepEd, sa usa ka post sa Facebook, nagkanayon nga ang tema karong tuiga nagtumong sa pagsaulog sa kamaayo ug kahalangdon sa mga Filipinong magtutudlo nga kaabag niini sa pagtukod sa usa ka patriyotiko ug mahigalaon nga nasud.

Ang tibuok buwan nga selebrasyon sa NTM, nga magsugod sa Septiyembre 5, motapos sa Oktubre 5 nga mao ang WTD ug mao usab ang National Teachers’ Day (NTD).

Kini nga mga selebrasyon ubos sa Presidential Proclamation No. 242 series of 2011 nga giulohan og Declaring the Period from September 5 to October 5 of Every Year as National Teachers’ Month; Ang Republic Act No. 10743 nga giulohan og An Act Declaring the Fifth Day of October of Every Year as a National Teachers' Day and its Implementing Rules And Regulations (IRR) ug ang pagtudlo sa World Teachers' Day matag ika-5 sa Oktubre sa United Nations Education. ug Cultural Organizations (UNESCO).

Gawas sa pagpasidungog niadtong anaa sa propesyon sa pagtudlo, ang mga selebrasyon sa NTM/WTD/NTD nagtumong usab sa pag-ila ug paghatag og gibug-aton sa mahinungdanong tahas, maunongon nga serbisyo ug dedikadong pasalig sa mga magtutudlo sa pagpalambo sa tibuok kalibutan nga panghunahuna nga mga lungsoranon, pag-amuma sa mga pamilya, pagpalig-on sa mga komunidad, ug pagtukod sa nasod.” (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity. Dumaguete crime rate drops

  DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Nov. 10 (PIA) -- The Dumaguete City Police Station has reported that between October 1 to Nov. 7, only 70 crime incidents were recorded, a decrease by 21% compared to 91 incidents in the same period of last year. In a City Peace and Order Council meeting, Lt. Col. Ronoel Fungo disclosed that no homicide, murder, robbery, carnapping, rape and rape with homicide cases were reported in the same period.  The City Health Office also reported that of the total 905 surrenderees or people who use drugs (PWUDs) in 2017, around 334 or 37% have completed their assessment as of Nov. 7, 2023. With the absence of drug dependents and pushers in Poblacion 4, 5, and 7, these are considered drug-free barangays, while Poblacion 6 was declared drug-cleared.  The City Health Office also noted that the low or no response to assessment of PWUDs are due to change of address, unknown whereabouts, conflict in work schedule, and imprisonment.  Meanwhile, the ...
