PBBM nanghangyo sa Kongreso: Abag sa tax measures, mga balaodnon


 

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, July 24 (PIA) -- Gipangayo ni President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. gikan sa hiniusang Kongreso nga natapok atul sa ikaduhang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ang mga mahinongdanon nga lakang sa pamuhis ubos sa Medium-Term Fiscal Framework (MTFF), ug mga prayoridad nga balaodnon aron masmapadali pa ang pagsulbong sa Pilipinas human malukapa sa pandemya.

Sa iyang ikaduhang SONA, gipangayo sa presidente ang suporta sa mga magbabalaod sa Ubos Balay Balaoranan ug sa katumbas niini sa Senado ang excise tax sa mogamit sa single-use plastics nga makadugang sab asura, pagpataas sa Value Added Tax sa mga digital services, rationalization sa mining fiscal regime, ang motor vehicle user’s charge o road user’s tax ug ang pension alang sa mga sundalo ug kadtong anaa sa unipormado nga serbisyo.

Gawas pa sa mga lakang sa pamuhis, gihangyo usab ni Presidente Marcos Jr. ang amendment sa Fisheries Code sa Pilipinas, ang amendment sa Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act, ang Amendment sa Cooperative Code, ang bag-o nga Government Procurement Law, ang bag-o nga Government Auditing Code, ang Anti-financial accounts scamming, ang Tatak-Pinoy law, ang Blue Economy law, ang pagpasayon sa pagbayad sa buhis, ang LGU income classification; ug ang Philippine Immigration Act.

Kini bisab pa nga samtang ang tibuok kalibutan naglantaw sa lisud nga sitwasyon human sa pandemya, napasulbong pa gihapon sa nasud ang ekonomiya.

“Our economy posted a 7.6% growth in 2022 – our highest growth rate in 46 years,” dayag sa Presidente sa iyang pakigpulong didto sa Batasan.

Ug sa paglu-ag sa mga pagdili niadtong panahon sa pandemya, napalambo na usab ang palit, nga giabagan sa binag-ong pamaagi sa online selling nga wala gyud matandog sa pandemya.

Matud niya, sa 2022 gani, ang naposte nga halin  gikan sa digital economy, miabut sa P2 trilyones ka pesos nga katumbas na sa 9.4% sa Gross Domestic Product (GDP) sa nasud.
