DSWD mipalig-on sa mga paningkamot sa pagpaminus sa kagutom, nagbansay sa mga CBOs

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, April 18 (PIA) -- Agi og pagsuporta sa Zero Hunger nga target sa gobyerno sa 2030, ang Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program nagtumong sa pagpalambo sa produksyon ug post-harvest practices sa community-based organizations (CBOs) pinaagi sa probisyon sa production technology ug pasilidad, pagbansay sa kahanas alang sa Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs), Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs), CBOs, ug uban pang mga rural-based nga organisasyon pinaagi sa kasamtangan ug may kalabutan nga pagbansay sa mga kauban.

Ang EPAHP nagtigom sa 31 ka partisipante, nga nagrepresentar sa 15 ka CBOs gikan sa tibuok Rehiyon VII - Cebu, Negros, Bohol, ug Siquijor sa usa ka workshop sa value chain nga gipahigayon gikan Abril 11-14, 2023.

Si Lovelyn Garcia, ang focal person sa EPAHP, mipasabot nga ang value chain naglangkob sa tibuok nga han-ay sa mga kalihokan ug serbisyo nga gikinahanglan sa pagdala sa usa ka produkto o serbisyo gikan sa pagpanamkon ngadto sa pagbaligya sa iyang katapusang mga merkado - lokal, nasyonal, rehiyon, o global. Kini nga kadena sa kantidad naglakip sa mga tigsuplay sa input, prodyuser, tigproseso, pumapalit, ug mga serbisyo sa suporta ug makapaarang nga mga palibot nga nagporma usa ka dinamikong sistema sa merkado.

Ang mga partisipante sa workshop mibisita sa Dao Public Market sa syudad sa Tagbilaran aron makita sa ilang kaugalingon ang kasamtangang presyo ug kalidad sa mga produkto sa merkado isip kabahin sa ilang proseso sa pagkat-on.

Samtang ang Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative maoy naghatag sa mga resource persons alang sa pagbansay.

Isip nanguna nga ahensya sa EPAHP, ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) magpadayon sa pagtampo ug pagbag-o sa mga solusyon aron makab-ot ang seguridad sa pagkaon, pagpakunhod sa kakabos, ug paghunong sa kagutom ug malnutrisyon. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

DEB launches command center for election monitoring

OCD-7: ‘Only OCD can hold incident command system trainings’
