TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, March 6 (PIA) -- Nagmalampuson ang gipahigayong SIM sign-up drive sa Association of United Development Information Officers (AUDIO) Bohol niadtong Marso 2 didto sa Bohol Island State University (BISU) Tagbilaran City Campus Activity Center.

Kini nahimo pinaagi sa pakigtambayayong sa National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Smart Communications, Globe Telecom ug sa BISU.

Didto nagbutang ang Smart Communications ug Globe Telecom sa ilang mga registration booths diin nakaparehsitro sa ilang SIM cards ang mga kawani ug estudyante sa BISU ug mga sakop sa ahensya sa goberno diin gibanabanang nikabat  kapin sa 400 ka mga SIM cards ang narehistro niadtong adlawa.

Kini agig suporta sa Republic Act 11934, o naila nga Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Act nga gilagdaan ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. niadtong Oktubre 10, 2022, aron mapugngan ang pagsaka sa insidente sa mga scam ug spam text messages ug i-regulate ang pag-isyu sa mga SIM card.

Unya kumpirmahi ang tanang detalye ug i-klik ang submit button, maghulat sa Smart’s verification sa imong personal nga impormasyon ug SIM registration.

Alang sa Globe ug TM SIM card subscribers, adto sa SIM card registration portal new.globe.com.ph/simreg ug isulat ang mga personal nga detalye.

Unya pag-upload og photo identification sa registration portal, pagsiguro nga aktibo pa ang ID, kumpirmahi ang tanang impormasyon ug i-klik ang submit, ug human niini ang Globe mokompirmar sa impormasyon ug sa SIM registration.

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
