TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Marso 7 (PIA) -- Aron malikayan ang phone scams ug aron mailhan na ang tag-iya sa numero sa selphon nga nangilad, kinahanglan na nga iparehistro ang mga Subscriber Information Modules (SIM) sa tanan nga cellphones.

Niini, sa pagpakigtambayayong sa Philippine Information Agency (PIA), National telecommunications Commission (NTC) ug Department of Information Communications and Technology (DICT), gitabangan ang mga estudyante sa pagparehistro sa ilang mga sim cards, niadtong Marso 2, 2023 didto sa Bohol Island State University Tagbilaran City Campus.

Ang sim card registration gipatuman sugod niadtong Disyembre 27 hangtod Abril 26 ug nga human niini, ang mga SIM nga wala marehistro, mahimong dili na magamit pa.

Karong panahona kadaghanan sa mga tawo migamit na sa cellphone isip ilang paagi sa komunikasyon.

Ang NTC nipahibawo nga kinahanglan ang tanang mga Filipino citizen nga may selpon nga migamit sa sim card magparehistro, aron malikayan ang pagka deactivate ug masolbad na dayun ang mga krimen gamit ang selphone.

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
