NTC7, Telcos mopahigayon og remote SIM registration sa Southern Cebu

CEBU CITY, Cebu Feb. 1(PIA) -- Isip paagi aron mapadali ang pagparehistro sa Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) sa nagkalain-laing hilit nga dapit sa Central Visayas, ang National Telecommunications Commission 7 (NTC7) sa pakigtambayayong sa dagkong telecommunication companies uban ang mga local government units mopahigayon og laing remote SIM registration sa habagatang bahin sa Probinsiya sa Sugbo.

Kini maoy sumpay sa bag-o lang gipahigayon nga remote SIM registration nga gipahigayon sa Moalboal, Cebu, niadtong Enero 25.

Ang NTC7, uban sa Globe, Smart, ug DITO, mopahigayon og facilitated SIM registration sa mga lungsod sa Oslob karong Pebrero 2 ug sa Malabuyoc karong Pebrero 3.

Kung diin kini pagatambungan nila ni NTC Deputy Commissioner Atty. Jon Paulo Salvahan, NTC7 OIC Regional Director Sophia Lynn Lumatod, ug ni NTC Enforcement and Operations Division OIC Engr. Felipe Gumalo Jr.

Matod sa NTC7, giawhag sa nahisgutang mga local government units ang mga residente nga naggamitan og keypad phones ug kadtong walay access sa internet connectivity nga mopahimulos sa mga serbisyo nga itanyag sa remote SIM registration nga ipahigayon gikan sa alas 8:00 sa buntag hangtod sa alas 5:00 sa hapon.

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
