DICT ug NTC miklaro: Deadline sa SIM registration nahiuyon sa balaod


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Jan. 18 (PIA) -- Ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ug ang National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) mipasabot niadtong Enero 17 nga ang deadline sa pagparehistro sa SIM, nga matunong sa Abril 26, 2023, gibase sa balaod ug walay kausaban sa deadline nga gihimo.

Matud pa nga ang maong deadline subay sa probisyon sa Republic Act No. 11934, o ang Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Act, nga nag-ingon nga “All existing SIMs subscribers shall register the same with their respective PTEs within one hundred eighty (180) days from the effectivity of this Act.”

Ang balaod dugang nga nag-ingon nga ang balaod mahimong epektibo 15 ka adlaw pagkahuman sa pagmantala niini sa Official Gazette o sa usa ka mantalaan nga adunay kinatibuk-ang sirkulasyon.

Ang maong balaod gilagdaan kaniadtong Oktubre10, 2022.

Pagkahuman kining gimantala sa website sa Official Gazette niadtong Oktubre 12, 2022 ug sa 13 Oktubre 2022 nga isyu sa Daily Tribune.

Busa kini miepekto 15 ka adlaw human sa maong publikasyon, o dili molapas sa Oktubre 28, 2022.

Samtang mahimong lugwayan sa DICT ang rehistrasyon sa laing 120 ka adlaw, ang tumong mao ang paghuman sa rehistrasyon sulod sa orihinal nga deadline.

Sa laing bahin, matud pa sa DICT ang mga giya alang sa rollout sa pagparehistro sa SIM sa mga hilit nga mga lugar gitapos na ug ipagawas sa dili madugay. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
