MANILA, (PIA) -- Si Presidente Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. gikatakdang molarga paingon sa Estados Unidos karong Domingo, Sept. 18, aron motambong sa ika-77 nga United Nations General Assembly didto sa New York City karong Septyembre 20, 2022.

Ang mensahe sa Presidente gilauman nga magpunting sa seguridad sa pagkaon, pagbag-o sa klima ug pagmando sa balaod, sumala sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Si Presidente Marcos gikatakdang mohatag sa iyang mensahe atubangan sa General Assembly sa alas 3:15 sa hapon,  oras didto sa New York (3:15 a.m. sa Manila) karong Septyembre 20 matod sa DFA.

"Watershed Moment: Transformative Solutions to Interlocking Challenges" mao ang tema alang sa General Assembly meeting karong tuiga.

"We can expect the President's statement to identify these challenges and the solutions to address them, the role of the United Nations, and how the Philippines intends to contribute to these efforts," matod ni Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Kira Azucena atol sa gipahigayon nga press briefing niadtong Huwebes.

"The President's statement will also articulate his administration's priorities which include climate change, the rule of law, and food security," dugang ni Azucena.

Ang maong pagbisita mao usab ang labing unang pakighimamat ni Presidente Marcos sa United Nations sukad siya nahimung labing taas nga opisyal sa nasud.

Sa laing bahin, ang iyang pakigtagbo sa mga opisyal sa US, gilauman nga magdala og dugang nga mga pamuhunan sa nasud, nga makamugna og mas daghan ug dekalidad nga trabaho alang sa mga Pilipino.

PVAO to partner with hospitals for improved medical care access of veterans
