Bugas gikan sa Japan alang sa Bohol, gihatod na ngadto sa DSWD7, NFA7


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, June 3 (PIA) -- Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa Rehiyon 7 pinaagi sa Disaster Response Management Division, sa panag-uban sa National Food Authority (NFA) Rehiyon 7, nihatod sa 6,666 ka sakong bugas nga gi-donar sa Japan ngadto sa mga giilang local government units sa lalawigan sa Bohol ug Cebu sa tibuok buwan sa Mayo 2022.

Ang gidonar nga bugas nga may timbang nga 30 kilos kada pakete gihatag sa gobyerno sa Japan pinaagi sa ilang Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF-Japan) ubos sa Tier 3 Program sa ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR).

Ang mga sinakong bugas sa duha  ka lalawigan direktang gihatod sa mga giilang local government units diin ipangapud-apod sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan sa bagyong Odette.

Apil sa mga giilang lungsod sa Bohol nga hatagan sa maong mga bugas mao ang mga lungsod sa Alicia, Balilihan, Calape, Carmen, Loon, Mabini, Valencia, Tubigon ug syudad sa Tagbilaran.

Samtang sa lalawigan sa Cebu, ang mga giilang lungsod mao ang mga lungsod sa Alcantara, Alcoy, Alegria, Boljoon, Ginatilan, Malabuyoc, Moalboal, ug Ronda.

Sa Memorandum of Agreement tali sa NFA ug DSWD kalabot sa pangapud-apod sa bugas, ang DSWD Field Office 7 ang in-charge sa pagbalhin sa stocks gikan sa NFA warehouse ngadto sa giilang LGU ug motabang sa distribusyon ug pag-release sa mga gi-donar nga bugas ngadto sa mga benepisyaryo.

PVAO to partner with hospitals for improved medical care access of veterans
