Pag-regulate sa presyo sa mga tambal, gimando ni Duterte

 


MANILA, Dec. 9 (PIA) -- Gi-anunsyo ni Acting Presidential Spokesperson ug Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles ang paglagda ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte og executive order (E.O.) nga mag-regulate sa presyo sa tambal ug medisina nga gamiton agi og tubag sa nag-unang hinungdan sa morbidity o mga sakit sa nasod.

Gibutyag ni Nograles nga gilagdaan ni Presidente Duterte ang E.O. No. 155 niadtong Disyembre 7.

This is part of efforts to improve access to affordable, quality medicines and reduce the health-related expenses of our countrymen, consistent with the goals of the Universal Health Care Act (Parte kini sa paningkamot nga pagpalambo sa akses sa barato, dekalidad nga mga medisina ug konhuran ang mga gasto nga may kalabotan sa panglawas sa katawhan nga haom sa mga tumong sa Universal Health Care Act),” matud pa ni Nograles.

Nakalatid sa E.O. nga ang price regulation pinaagi sa Maximum Retail Price (MRP) ug/o Maximum Wholesale Price (MW) ipatuman sa “34 drug molecules and 71 drug formulas used in agents affecting bone metabolism, analgesics, anesthetics, anti-angina, antiarrhythmics, anti-asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease medicines, antibiotics, anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, antidiabetic drugs, antidiuretics, and antiemetics.”

Nahisulod usab niining E.O. ang drug molecules ug formulas nga gigamit sa anti-glaucoma, anti-hypercholesterolemia medicines, antihypertensive medicines, anti-neoplastic/anti-cancer medicines, antiparkinsons drugs, tambal alang sa overactive bladders, growth hormone inhibitors, immunosuppressant drugs, iron chelating agents, ug psoriasis, seborrhea ug ichthyosis medicines. 

Nalatid usab sa Section 2 sa E.O. nga gi-require ang tanang manufacturers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, traders, ug retailers alang sa pag-display sa retail price nga dili molapas sa MRP.

Gitumbok usab sa E.O. nga ang MRP, nag-una sa polong nga "RETAIL PRICE NOT TO EXCEED," ug "UNDER DRUG PRICE REGULATION," ipatik sa pula nga strip, tin-aw nga e-imprenta sa label sa sudlanan sa tambal sa minimum pack nga itanyag isip retail.

Ang listahan sa medisina ug ilang katugbang nga MRPs ug MWPs “subject to the review” sa DOH, nga may konsultasyon sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) unom ka buwan gikan sa effectivity sa EO, ug matag unom  ka buwan paghuman niini.

Ubos sa Section 19 (D) sa RA No. 9502, ang Kalihim sa DOH ang adunay gahom nga magpahamtang og administrative fines nga dili moubos sa P50,000 o dili molapas sa P5,000,000. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

PVAO to partner with hospitals for improved medical care access of veterans
