FDA: COVID-19 vax, walay side effects sa mga menor-de-edad

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Nov. 15 (PIA) -- Nipagawas og pahayag ang Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) nga sa pagkakaron, wala pa’y nataho nga adverse reactions sa mga bata nga naa sa 12 hangtod 17 anyos nga age group nga gibakunahan sa ilang first dose sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine.

Matud pa sa pahayag ni FDA Director General Eric Domingo, pipila lamang sa mga bata- siyam nga natupokan sa Pfizer vaccine ug  usa nga gibakunahan og Moderna- ang nakasinati og allergies, hyperventilation, ug post-vaccination body pain apan naayo ra pagka-sunod adlaw.
Sa pagkakaron, aprubado na sa FDA ang Pfizer ug Moderna COVID-19 vaccines alang sa mga bata gikan 12 hangtod 17 anyos.

“So far, yung monitoring natin, siguro mga 400,000 na ‘yung nabakunahan na mga bata, wala naman tayong nakikita na adverse events na grabe, na talaga pong nagkaron ng problema,” matud pa ni Domingo.

Gidugang pa niini nga dili na kinahanglan magpakita ang mga menor-de-edad nga walay medikal nga kondisyon og medical certificates gikan sa ilang doktor, sa dili pa  bakunahan, gawas na lamang sa may mga comorbidities.

Giklaro ni Domingo nga dili kinahanglan og medical certificate aron magpabakuna ang mga bata  12-17 anyos basta walay sakit, moadto lamang sa vaccination centers aron mabakunahan.

Gisugdan sa gobyerno ang pediatric inoculation program niadtong Oktubre 15 alang sa may mga comorbidities, ug niadtong Nobyembre 3 usab ang tanang menor-de-edad apil ang 12-17 age group. (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
