DOTr, CAAP milusad sa one-stop shop sa BPIA alang sa mga namauling OFWs, int’l travelers

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Nov. 18 (PIA) -- Ang Department of Transportation (DOTr), pinaagi sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), sa pakig-alayon sa buhatan ni Gob. Arthur Yap sa probinsya sa Bohol, milusad sa One Stop Shop (OSS) didto sa Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA) niadtong Nobyembre 17.

Alas 5:26 Miyerkoles sa hapon, ang DOTr ug CAAP, kauban sa nagkalain-laing ahensya ug representante sa Kagamhanang Probinsyal sa Bohol, nipahiluna sa pilot implementation sa OSS pinaagi sa pag-process sa 120 ka pasahero nga niabot gikan sa Bangkok lulan sa Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR 731, diin tanang government frontline services gihatag ngadto sa mga nanguli'ng overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

“The government has repatriated a lot of OFWs displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic since last year. And there are more of them expected to return, which is why DOTr and CAAP aim to prioritize not only their safety and security in our airports, but more importantly, their convenience in our terminals,” matud pa sa pahayag ni CAAP Director General Jim Sydiongco.

Ang inisyatibang One Stop Shop gipahigayon ubos sa mando ug direktiba ni DOTr Kalihim Art Tugade, diin iyang gitumbok ang panginahanglan sa pagpasayon sa proseso sa mga manguling OFWs taliwala sa limitadong international arrival capacities sa NAIA, Mactan ug Clark.

Pinaagi sa OSS, ang mga pasahero gigiyahan sa paggamit sa digitized health declaration ug contact tracing processes sa BPIA.

Human niini, ang mga OFWs gitumong sa Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), samtang ang mga non-OFWs gi-refer ngadto sa Department of Tourism (DOT), alang sa pagpahiluna sa ilang swab testing ug akomodasyon.

Ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) nagpahigayon sa final screening sa wala pa gi-deploy ang mga pasahero sa mga managlahing buses.

Ang paglusad nahimong malampuson sa pagdumala sa DOTr ug CAAP, sa pakig-alayon sa OWWA, DOT, BI, Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), Bureau of Customs (BOC), Bohol Provincial Government Unit, ug Panglao Local Government Unit.

Ang Bohol-Panglao International Airport nisunod sa Laoag International Airport sa pagpatuman sa One Stop Shop alang sa mga nanguli'ng OFWs.  (ECB/PIA7 Bohol)

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
