CHED milusad sa ‘Resbakuna Para Makabalik Eskwela’

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Nov. 23 (PIA) -- Ang Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Rehiyon 7, sa pakig-alayon sa Bohol Island State University (BISU) nilusad sa vaccination program nga gitawag og ‘Resbakuna Para Makabalik Eskwela’ alang sa  mga kolehiyo ug unibersidad sa lalawigan sa Bohol niadtong Lunes, Nobyembre 22.

Ang ceremonial vaccination alang sa mga estudyante, magtutudlo ug ubang personahe sa mga kolehiyo ug unibersidad gipahigayon sa BISU Main Campus gymnasium ning syudad isip parte sa pagpangandam sa planong pagbalik sa face-to-face classes.

Kini human unang gipahibalo sa CHED niadtong Nobyembre 15 nga ang higher education institutions (HEIs) tugotan na sa hinay-hinay nga pagbalik sa limitadong in-person classes for all degree programs.

“Limited face-to-face classes are now allowed under Alert Levels 1, 2 and 3, subject to certain conditions,” matud pa ni CHED chairman Prospero De Vera III sa  usa  ka video message atol sa gipahigayong programa sa ceremonial vaccination.

Gidugang ni De Vera nga aron tugotan sa CHED nga makapahigayon sa face-to-face classes, kinahanglang e-retrofit o bag-ohon ang mga pasilidad aron protektado gikan sa COVID-19, sundon ang minimum public health standards ug bakunahan ang mga teaching ug non-teaching personnel sa usa  ka tunghaan og dili moubos sa 70 porsyento sa kinatibuk-ang populasyon sa mga estudyante.

Ang programa nag-target pareho sa pampubliko ug pribadong higher education institutions apil sa mga municipal colleges sa nagkalain-laing lungsod sa lalawigan.

Ang mga bakuna nga gigamit sa ceremonial vaccination mao ang gitagana sa Department of Health (DOH) alang sa mga local government units.

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
