19 airports, 33 seaport projects nahuman sulod sa 3 ka buwan – DOTr

 


TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Nov. 11 (PIA) -- Gipasigarbo sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang nahuman nga 19 airports ug 33 ka seaport projects sa milabay nga tulo  ka buwan ubos sa dakong imprastraktura nga programa sa gobyerno nga “Build, Build, Build”.

Sa "Talk to the People" ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte, gipahayag ni DOTr Kalihim Arthur Tugade nga ang DOTr, ubos sa Duterte administration, naka-kumpleto og 233 ka airport projects taman Nobyembre 2021.

“In a period of three months, nakatapos, nakabuo, at nakaayos ho tayo ng mga paliparan at mga airport projects,” matud pa ni Tugade.

Ang mga nakumpletong airport projects naglakip sa Bicol International Airport, Butuan Airport, Catarman Airport, Siquijor Airport, corporate building ug second runway sa Mactan International Airport, General Santos International Airport, ug uban pa.

Sa maritime sector, may kinatibuk-ang 484 ka proyekto ang nakumpleto ubos sa Duterte administration.

For a period of barely three months, nakakumpleto ho tayo, Mr. President, ng 33 seaport maritime projects,” matud pa sa Kalihim.

Pipila sa bag-o lamang gi-inagurahan ang seaport projects apil na ang Tagbilaran Port sa Bohol, Port of Maribojoc, Port of Loon, Port of Talibon, Port of Ubay, Port of Tapal, ug uban pa.

Sa sunod semana, may 11 seaport projects ang dungan nga subhan pinaagi sa virtual ceremony sa Calapan, Mindoro, pagbutyag pa ni Tugade.

Una na niining proyekto ang bag-ong passenger terminal sa Calapan Port nga maoy pinakadakong passenger terminal sa nasod nga adunay maximum passenger capacity nga 3,500 matud pa sa Kalihim.

Gawas niini, sundan kini dayon sa Zamboanga Port nga adunay dakong maximum passenger capacity nga 4,000 concurrent passengers.

Sa railway sector usab, may 451 kilometers (km) sa railways ang natukod gikan sa 77 km sukad nagsugod ang administrasyong Duterte.

Bago ho matapos ang termino ninyo, hahabulin ko ho ‘yung 1,090 kilometers (Before your term ends, we will strive to reach 1,090 kilometers),” matud pa ni Tugade kang Duterte.

Samtang sa road transport sector, gipakita niini ang bag-o lamang nga rollout sa Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) 10-year valid driver’s licenses alang sa mga drivers nga walay infractions, ang libre ug online comprehensive driver’s education program, ug ang P1 bilyon fuel subsidy alang sa 136,000 public utility vehicles (PUV) drivers ug operators.

Matud pa ni Tugade nga sa dili pa mahuman ang buwan sa Nobyembre, tinguha nilang masugdan na ug mahuman sa dili pa matapos ning tuiga ang pangapod-apod sa 1-bilyon fuel subsidy.

'Barangayanihan' caravan bares accomplishments under PRRD

  CEBU CITY, Cebu, Oct. 24 (PIA) -- The Duterte Legacy Caravan in Cebu dubbed as “Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” highlighted the various projects and programs implemented in Cebu under the Duterte administration that has brought about a positive change in the lives of its beneficiaries.  Cebu province benefited from several projects from the Duterte administration under the "Build, Build, Build" program such as bridges, diversion roads, evacuation centers, municipal buildings, public markets, road concreting, farm to market roads,  among others. EMB 7 creates composite team for water sampling

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 of the Department of Environment Natural Resources Central Visayas on Tuesday, Dec. 28, has created a composite team for water sampling in the different parts of the region affected by Typhoon "Odette" (International name: Rai). The EMB 7 deployed two teams conducting ambient water sampling in the Northern Cebu (Liloan area, Consolacion, Mandaue and Mactan Coastal Area) and Southern Cebu (Cebu Port Area, Talisay, Naga and San Fernando). The bureau said the first two samples from Punta Engaño near Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu and Umapad, Mandaue City near the bridge and Petron) taken last Dec. 23 and 24 were brought to Ostrea Laboratory since the EMB laboratory cannot analyze due to no electricity.
